Guys! Time for another Fashion Roundup, where you get to tell me what was “hot” or “not” about some of my recent looks. Be honest. I can take it!
Let's start with an all-time fave, this gorge Marc Jacobs dress I wore to the Hunger Games Paris premiere. Can you say sparkly sequins? These Walter Steigler shoes are so “Capitol fashion” and the jewelry is from the lovely Irene Neuwirth.

Restoration Hardware hosted a super fun event for the launch of their Spring 2012 collection and everyone dressed up. It felt like all of fashionable LA was checking out furniture that night. I chose a burnt orange Andrew Gn, some peep toe shoes from Christian Louboutin, and the bling is again from Irene Neuwirth.
Nothing mellow about this yellow. Here’s me at The Hunger Games London premiere. Bill Blass made this elegant and fluorescent number and the matching bag is from Judith Leiber. My beauty maestro Karen Adler shared about my make-up look for this event HERE.
At the Vanity Fair Oscar Party I got to rock this amazing Chadwich Bell floor-length dress with this cute Jimmy Choo clutch and Jewelry from Bvlgari. I left feathers all over the floor!
At the Hunger Games premiere in Berlin, I felt more like the Girl on Fire than Effie! This smokin’ dress is from Elie Saab and the earrings are from Irene Neuwirth. Again, you can check out my make-up look HERE.

These shots are from behind the scenes at two of my appearances for The Hunger Games—The Ellen Show on the left and The Tonight Show on the right. At Ellen, I’m rockin’ a Peter Som number with shoes by Casadei and some ice from House of Lavande. To chat with Jay Leno, I wore an outfit from Bally with earrings from Pearl Paradise, rings from Renee Sheppard, and shoes from Christian Louboutin.
All of these designers are so amazing - what's your favorite look?

You are a very beautiful woman, but in the London and Berlin Premieres your look is... superb. -

1. Not - Ugly dress, ugly hair, ugly shoes. :(
2. Hot - Ugly dress, rockin' hair, gorgeous shoes! Lovely shoes but did NOT go with your dress. Very lav'ly clutch, though!
3. Hot - Gorgeous all round! Love it :)
4. HOT. - One of my favourite looks from you. Lovely hair and such a fab dress.
5. Hot - I'm undecided about this, but, I will say hot for now.
6. Hot - Again, undecided, but will say hot.
7. HOT - One of my faves, love that look.
8. Hot! - Just love it, omg.
So jealous of your wardrobe ._. -
You really know what looks good on you and you wear it well. While I love the color of the dress in Paris, your dresses in LA and London are my favorites! -
-
You are gorgeous in everything. My favourite is the dress from the LA premiere. HOT HOT HOT. :) -
I'm going out of order because I want to start with the most prevalent (to me) - for better or for worse! I know E can take it - that's why we love her :) 1) Bill Blass/Judith Leiber look is flawless. Love the beachy hair and sunny face look. Love that you didn't spray tan - skin tone is perfect doll! 2) MJ dress. Not a fan of the dress or the hair. Reminds me of Star Trek and I think you look better viroids than that. Dress was too busy near your neck but I will say, I love the shoes. 3) Andrew Gn look...please please PLEASE loan me this dress for a special date, it would be perfect!!! amazing choice. Sexy, classic, feminine. Beautiful and cute - men love this!!! The classic cat eye could not have been prettier....simple hair - love it doll! May have chosen a brighter gold in the earrings but love the droopy hoop. Would have liked to see a gold/sheer fairy-ish neutral lip. Think chanel nude liner w Nara starlight gloss....? 4) Chadwich: Green and Navy are stellar choice for you.....dress up or down. Cut that dress to the knees, add French blue cuffs to the sleeves and wear your hair down with sharp gold hoop earrings this summer. Hello White House! 5) really like the Orange Altier in color. Too much highlight and too sharp of a highlight line under your eyes! You're too young for that mini raccoon look. Lastly - super cute at the Ellen Show! You look tiny, as always. Hair is solo old school Madonna-Material Girl, cute!
That's all I got and it's been a great way to spend a Friday night, I am so glad I found this site I've had a blast!!!! PS - I'm not kidding about the Andrew Gn dress. C'mon doll!!!! Thanks for your time. Xoxo Meesh -
Well you definately can pull off any color, my fave would have to be the canary yellow #. I love how it was backless, and it really complimented your skintone and hair. For my least favorite, I'd have to go with the Bally outfit. -
The Jacobs Sparkle! A different color glows with every move. The Ellen Show blue for casual is so cute. A doll in every one! ♥ -
Paris-dress-Hot except the ruffles should have stopped above the breasts it just looks odd to me.
Shoes-Not, you don't need shoes that bulky.
Hair-Not, Looks a bit butch to me.(sorry)
LA.-Hot, Busy curly patern accentuates your womenly curves.
RH.-Dress? Not sure, Not, if it makes you look puffy from the back. Having flash backs of Vanilla Ice, Ice, Baby (ok it can't be that bad) Lol
London-HOT! There's not enough "O's) in Hot to describe you in that set-up! What can be said but OMFG! I think I just fell in love with you. Lol.
VFOP-not, Your shape looks great in most anything (see Ellen show post) The colors and patterns are a bit tough to look at.
Berlin- Once again, OMFG!! The head shot is a perfect 10 plus!
Ellen show- Not That high waist and pattern would have Joan rivers ROFLHAO (sorry but you asked, and I ain't afraid to say ) Don't hate me people .
Jay Leno- A nice comfortable, casual look. Love the skirt. -
Ok so maybe my opinion is a little young since I'm only 15...haha but here it goes.
1. I LOVE that dress and the shoes. I like how the dress is longer. If it were shorter, I think it would be more 'clubbish' haha I just made up a word :) I do agree that the hair is a little severe...maybe a looser chignon would've worked better.
2. Omigod I love this dress. Just perfection. That color looks fabulous on you!!
3. The color is great, but I think the bottom puffs out a little too much. I love those shoes though :)
4. I am in love with this dress also! It flatters your figure really well. I wouldn't think yellow would look good on you, but you rock it!! And your hair looks great like that. It frames your face nicely.
5.I think this dress is beautiful but I also think it's a dress that doesn't turn up as good in pictures as it does in real life. From the full body, the dots seem a little much, but when there's close-ups, it looks great.
6. Love this dress and the hair is amazing. The dress looked great on the black carpet :) I think the eye makeup is a little dark, though.
7. Ellen- I actually love this! It's fun and quirky and that blouse is to DIE for. Your hair looks great too.
Jay Leno- This outfit is really cute! That top is adorable and I like how the skirt keeps it from being too young. The earrings are really pretty too.
Just overall, I loved how you've been wearing 'Effie-ish' outfits to promote the movie. Congrats on the success of the movie! You deserve it, you were amazing :) -
Love the breakdowns! Wow, Jonathan B and Bree, appreciate the detailed comments! The Peter Som pants were certainly risky but that's fashion for ya. I wore the same top with simple black leather pants later that night as I felt too "golf" for an evening out! But I still loved wearing those pants. Thanks for checking in, ya'll! -
I absolutely LOVE Hunger Games: London yellow dress! It really makes your eyes pop! By far my favorite :) Effie would approve! -
I can't choose! You look stunning in all those outfits...I love all of The Hunger Games Premiere dresses, and for the Vanity Fair...Flawless, I must say.So, I can't really choose, but none of them are fashion flops. They're all incredibly beautiful.:) -
Hi Elizabeth, I really like the LA Premiere orange outfit. The one I like the least is the yellow outfit. It seems to wash you out a bit. I know this is not super detailed like the other posts but that is what I see. :-) I wish I was as pretty as you! -
1. HG Paris: As most have said, the dress does have too many ruffles as it's already busy with color and sequins, but the color is EXCELLENT for you. I agree, too, that your hair was too severe here.
2. HG L.A.: LOVE this entire ensemble, hair and makeup included. It's fun, sexy, unique, and bold. To me, that screams L.A.
3. Release party: I agree with everything Jonathan B said about this. :) I am often disappointed with the use of V-necklines on clothes, as they are often too deep with no jewelry and I feel this is just drawing attention to "that area" instead of on the whole person and ensemble.
4. HG London: I again agree with everything Jonathan B said about this one. It just works.
5. VF Oscar Party: I love the hair for this, but I feel that the hair demands a completely black or white dress - something far more classier than this. The spots are fun, but the combination of spots, high neckline, and feathers make the look disjointed.
6. HG Berlin: As others have said, the vintage bombshell hair is beautiful here! Surprisingly it works well with the vibrant dress.
7. HG Tonight Show: I agree with the others that this is far too busy, and us normal laypeople simply can't pull this off. I tend to think that fashion should be universal, like the Little Black Dress. So when I see celebrities wearing such an outfit as this, I am disappointed because A) it's busy, B) it is not classy and universal. The high-pants style is something I think works, but it'd have to be paired with a tighter shirt to actually accentuate curves instead of hide them.
8. HG Ellen: Better, but still not my favorite. The blouse seems baggy to me, though I agree that the pattern is a good balance without seeming overwhelming.
I'm going to say London and Berlin are tied for my favorites! -
I love that you can wear such diverse dresses and outfits and look so great in all of them.
My favorite on you is the orange Versace. The color is so rich on you. The nude shoes really elongate your legs. I really like the way your hair was styled, too.
I am not a fan of the Peter Som outfit from your appearance on The Ellen Show. Maybe because I know if I wore something like that people would laugh at me for not knowing how to match my clothes.
Have you noticed that celebrities can sometimes look great in outfits that don't always match. But if you saw the same outfit on a "regular" person it would just look strange. -
From the top:
1) HG Paris - Like the color and sparkles on the dress, not so fond of the pile of scrunchies look for the ruffles. The hair is too severely pulled back for you.
2) HG LA - Like the orange color and the cut, and the hair looks good on you as well. Not so fond of the surface decoration on the dress. From the face close-up, I can tell they're a meshy fabric. But in the full length shot, they give the appearance of plastic. It might be partly the strobe effect from the cameras making it overly shiny, though.
3) Really nice color on you, and the hair looks cute. The neckline could stand to be less deep, though. Collar-bone level would be more elegant especially with the high waist belt.
4) HG London - The yellow looks absolutely gorgeous on you. Love the hair, very suitable for the outfit, and the understated accessories are a nice match. If I had any complaint it'd be that I'm rather prudish for the depth of cutout in back, but you look stupendous in this.
5) VF Oscar Party - The dress is quirky yet classy, and looks really good on you. The jewelry is a nice compliment to it.
6) HG Berlin - Very classy and classic dress, absolutely love the hair which matches great with it. You look gorgeous in this. Vintage blonde bombshell look.
7) HG Tonight Show - The hair is gorgeous, but the pants are...well...kinda hideous. I feel bad to say that but you did say be honest. :) The pattern most especially, though I also think you look better with a longer torso look than that high waist provides. I'm undecided on the blouse. If I saw it with something totally different than those pants, I might like it; I'm just not sure because the pants are so distracting.
8) HG Ellen - You look great in this. The hair is lovely, the skirt's simple black color is a great balance to the patterned blouse, but the shiny material keeps it from looking too plain. The blouse color is good for you, and the pattern manages to be busy and springtimeish without being gaudy.
My favorites, in order: HG London, HG Berlin, HG Ellen, VF Oscar Party. -
-
I think the Marc Jacobs is my favorite on you...the deep pink really compliments your fair skin tone. The deep neckline on the Andrew Gn is amazing and that has to be my second favorite. You're lucky that any color looks good on you, but I have to say the Chadwich Bell is my least favorite. The other dresses have a more flirty feel to them and showcase a big personality. I think it's a combination of the deep green hue and the black feathers that bring a sort of 'drab' feel to it. That is the only critical thing I can say about these pics. -
You look so gorgeous in all of them! Especially love the dress you wore to the Vanity Fair party and love the orange Versace too! -
