The trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby has me in a tizzy. Sure, Leo in a suit as Jay Gatsby is nice but check out the rest of those insanely glamourous costumes! Deco designs reminiscent of the 1920s have been making a major comeback in fashion over the past year (à la Gucci and Ralph Lauren) and the style is sure to pop up again and again between now and when the film is released this Christmas.

Baz collaborator Catherine Martin no doubt had a hand here and the eye candy is sensational. I saw them at the Met Ball recently (Baz helped host with star Carey Mulligan) but I was too shy to speak to them! Take a peek at the glitzy trailer below:
Are you excited to see The Great Gatsby?

It was a great book and looks to be a great movie. I think I'll read the book again before seeing the movie. it has been quite a few years since I last read it. -
This is one of my favorite books. I like the Jack Clayton version (1973) with Robert Redord, Mia Farrow, Robert Duvall, Karen Black and Sam Waterston (my favorite character) but maybe this is the definitive version.
It's for sure that catehrine Martin will be again nominated to Oscar to best Costume Designer.
I love the book because it's very incisive about human being. -
I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie. I read the book in high school but that's been a few years ago. The costumes in the film look awesome. Thank you for sharing the trailer! -
