Be sure to take lots of pictures of yourself and your friends rocking these looks, cause they’re going to make you and your kids laugh your heads off a few years from now. Prepare for them to be the “Glamour Shots” of the 2010s.
“Heel-less” Heels

Proceed with caution – you don’t want to have to tell the story of how mama dressed so fierce she broke her ankle.
Dip Dyed Hair

I love this look, but I also loved Farrah's feathered hair and Bo's braids from 10. Don't know what I'm talking about? That's this look in five years.
Check out these retro bathing suits!
Floral Everything

Grandma’s couch has never been more chic than it is right now. Rock this look while you can, for grandma. When this trend subsides, you can turn your floral wear into new slipcovers for her furniture.
Exposed Butt High-Waisted Mini Shorts

Not for the faint of heart, this trend works on the beach or while gardening in the privacy of your own backyard. Or if you're Miley Cyrus, G-d bless her. Just remember to change before you leave the house. Or hit your quarter-century b’day.
Body Chains

Personally, I only like this look on other people, namely Rihanna. So maybe just keep this trend on file, so you can say, look how mommy wasn’t a fashion victim back in the day!
What’s a current trend that you think will look ridiculous in a few years? Snark about it in the comments below.

In truth, all the look's on this page seem ridiculous now. Who needs to wait five years to laugh at them? -
That dip dyed hair thing, no idea it was a "style" since to me that was what happened when you ran out of money to buy bleach and dye! -
-Collars ! they are EVERYWHERE ! every now nd then it can be cute but then other times it just totally ruins the shirt !
-UGGS make your feet look monstrous !
-METALLIC LEGGINGS ! THEY ARE HORRIFIC ! :( -
Me being a teenager, I agree actually with what you're saying! I never liked the dipped hair thing...and well those shorts in the picture are kind of creepy hah and those heels are well kinda painful. And i've NEVER seen those chains before lol -
I am totally over hombre. Clothes, hair, nails. All of it. Even the word hombre. Ugh. Go away. -
Gay men in P-town have been wearing those high-waisted butt-showing shorts for years. I don't think it'll stop any time soon. And it's not pretty from the front, either. -
belly tops (cropped tops) - they should be outlawed. i have actually seen people wear leggings as pants with just a crop top, no tank underneath. *shudder* -
O-M-G! And I thought that wearing cammo scrubs was high fashion. Thanks to "Wheat Belly" I've lost a third of my former weight and I'm still losing so buying good clothes is out of the question as anything I buy is too big in just a few weeks. As for showing my rear end...only my doctor will ever see it (or should!) -
Haha, had the same dip-dyed hair as the girl on the picture! But had it a few years ago. I like it ;)
Those shoes... not my style at all! All the other things, not my style either btw. Only wish I could wear those shorts... But you need an amazing body for that!
What I remembered from a few years ago... jeans with a skirt... Terrible now! -
Tattoos. Like being stuck permanently wearing what I wore in 1975.
And face piercings. I see lot's of people (especially actors in closeups) who have those little divots in their skin on their nose, or lips, or eyebrows, from when they realized they were past the 'disaffected youth' stage of life. -
Leggings as pants. Leggings are not pants, they are another layer. You wouldn't wear tights without a skirt. So, why do it with leggings, which are essentially tights without the feet. Maybe guys should just start wearing their Under Armor as pants. That should kill this trend. -
I love the dip-dyed hair thing because you don't have to worry about regrowth! Mine's just dip dyed blonde but I sometimes chalk it pink orange or purple. ;)
And a trend I hate is the leggings as pants one! -
I remember when I worked in corporate retail and there were a lot of fashion merchandising majors...they all tried the latest trends. In I think around 2006-2007 range, it was the rage to wear boots with capris. Like this: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_NH3CYa8R0hU/TTE0F44_INI/AAAAAAAAACk/MU_hxghIzls/s1600/capris+and+boots.jpg
Which in my opinion, looks like a pirate.
Of course, this was right around the poncho trend, so some poor unfortunate souls were wearing ponchos with shortie pants and boots. All they needed was a parrot on their shoulders. Save the pirate look for Johnny Depp. -

I definitely have too many floral things in my closet (floral pants I bought for cheap since it's no longer spring.) But that's the only thing from this list I own, so I think I'm good!
PS, Liz, you'd look great with Farrah's hair. ;) -
I loved Farrah! Lol Ya, The hair that started it all. Aging myself there. I don't think the short shorts will ever go away, but I agree that its for the younger. Not that I would ever wear them, nice to look at though :) -
