EAT HERE NOW: Liberty Wharf with Boston Kelly

Enjoying life by the water is short-lived in the North East. That's why any time the sun comes out and the temperature reaches upwards of 60 degrees, you'll see every Bostonian crowding the nearest restaurant with outdoor dining. The best spot to dine? Liberty Wharf on Boston's waterfront. I lived in South Boston for years and watched the area transform into one of the hottest, most popular places to be in the city.

There are four restaurants at Liberty Wharf: Legal Harborside, Del Frisco's, Temazcal, and Jerry Remy's. Want an incredible view of the city and the water? Legal Harborside's 3rd floor deck. Want a mouthwatering steak and a sweeping view? Del Frisco's. Want to sip on a perfectly tangy margarita in the harbor breeze? Temazcal. Want a gourmet burger with a waterfront view? Jerry Remy's.

Check out these yummy summer salads!

I actually have a slight obsession with Del Frisco's. The word that comes to mind when I think of this place is “insane” –as in, it’s insane how good this place is! My favorite dish is the lobster mac n’ cheese. And I don't even like lobster, so that’s saying something.

Next time you’re in Boston and the weather is nice (rare, but you could be lucky!), try to stop by any one of these four waterfront restaurants – I promise your stomach will thank you.

What are your favorite Boston-style dishes?

Del Frisco's is hands down my favorite restaurant in Boston - amazing service and the food is incredible! The trio of filets (not on the menu, but always a special) is not to be missed!

When I worked on Summer St. in Southie we used to go to the No Name for takeout. Real seafood at real prices. No frills. Just good food.

I live in Boston as well and whenever I need a pick me up I love to get some lobster mac N cheese! Quincy market on the long wharf also has a stand that does a seafood mac V cheese with lobster, shrimp, and crab. Yum!

Lobster Mac & Cheese sounds amazing! I'm willing to bet I won't be able to find it around Columbus, OH. Enjoy!
