Now that I’ve come clean about what isn’t so great about little Miss Effie, I want to hear what you think about her character. Let me know in the comments and come back tomorrow for another #EffieAnswers vlog!

Kudos for playing Effie and Laura Bush so differently from each other, despite the obvious parallels. -
Hi Ms. Banks,
My question for you is kind of like the Team Peeta or Team Gale question, but also not at all.
My question is, in the books it said that Haymitch chose to keep Katniss alive, if you were Haymitch, who would you have chose too keep alive- Katniss or Peeta?
Please answer! Thanks! -
I've never actually thought of Effie as the villain, because it's not her fault.Like you said, she's been brainwashed by the Capitol, and knows no better. She's actually my favorite character, and I'm so glad you play her! You're perfect as Effie, I must say.:)
My question is : How didn't you faint in all those clothes?I have read the magazines, and they say that it was 100 plus degrees outside. How did you stand it in the heat, and not get over worked?Oh, and the heels!Did you have to train to walk in those?:) -
ok so this has nothing to do with this video but I had to ask...i was just on spotify and typed in 'Hunger games' and the whole soundtrack came up with all the songs! i thought it wasn't out till tommorow? I have absolutly no problem with it coming out early but yh :P -
I think Effie's just a really sweet women who's just a bit lost, she grew up in such a corrupt place and knew no better, I even think she might of thought for a second that it was wrong to make innocent kids fight to the death but she couldn't exactly voice her opinion. In my opinion there's two explanation's for this, either a- she's clever and knows that the capitol is wrong but she's also clever enough to know that she'd never be able to overthrow the government on her own.- or b- she just doesn't know better. I think its A I think her over the top personality and style is like a shell that protects her from looking 'anti-capitol' and her constant punctuality and the way she always strives for perfection could be seen as a sign that she's actually quite clever! (in my school it is anyway, being punctual is always a good thing to have!)
anyway's, after that overly long mahossive essay on Effie! here are a few of my questions! :)
1. what was the coolest outfit you got to wear!? I know most of them are completely over the top but it must have been cool to wear all of those amazing outfits!
2. how long did it take to do all your hair and make-up, honestly it looks like it took longer to get ready than it did to actually shoot your scenes as Effie :P
and 3. what part of the series did you relate to the most, even if its not about Effie -

I saw you on Wednesday outside the entrance to the cinema (not the red carpet) and said Hello and then nervously started shaking and couldn't say anything... Sorry for being so awkward!
My question is this:
Why did you go to all of the premieres with Josh, Jennifer and Liam? It almost felt like your character of Effie was being played in real life as well as in the Hunger Games!
